Covering six square kilometres, the site in West Cumbria is home to more than 200 nuclear facilities. A team of 11,000 people work alongside our supply chain partners to tackle a diverse portfolio of decommissioning, reprocessing, spent fuel management, nuclear waste management and nuclear material management.

As a Sellafield graduate, you’ll be at the heart of a smart community – a network of ambitious, team-spirited graduates who will shape the future of an entire sector. As part of our 24-month engineering graduate programme you could work in a variety of profession areas.

Training and development
We have the site at Sellafield (West Cumbria) and our office at Risley (near Warrington). Together, these are home to the greatest concentration of PhDs in the UK. Join us and you’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with industry-leading – sometimes world-leading – experts. There are generations and generations of knowledge here and people are only too willing to share it. Typical starting salaries
Graduate starting salary: £33,294
Placement salary range: £16,371 – £17,455
Desired degree disciplines/experience
We accept a variety of degree disciplines from a diverse range of backgrounds. You’ll need to be on track to achieve at least a 2:1 classification in your chosen degree discipline.
