Chemistry World has been named Monthly business and professional magazine of the year by the PPA
Chemistry World has been named Monthly business and professional magazine of the year in this year’s Periodicals Publishing Association (PPA) awards. The judges said the magazine was ’amazingly accessible for such a technical title, making it easy for the reader to interact.’
Chemistry World fought off strong competition from a shortlist of eight, which included Insurance Age and Management Today.
’This is a fantastic achievement for the whole Chemistry World team,’ said Phil Abrahams, publisher.
The award was presented by Private Eye editor, Ian Hislop at a ceremony attended by 1400 people. Other winners on the night were newscientist.com, named as interactive consumer magazine of the year, and rock magazine Kerrang!, which won the Consumer specialist magazine of the year category.
