Latest microscopy videos will show chemistry from another angle

Envisioning chemistry is a video series that made waves last year with its amazing footage of everyday chemical transformations, from precipitation to combustion, without glassware getting in the way. The Beauty of Science team behind the project, headed by Yan Liang, shot the ultra high definition footage using state of the art microscopy and infrared cameras.

The videos that were released last year were just teasers though, and the main event is coming very soon. In the run-up to the release of the team’s new videos – that will no doubt be equally jaw dropping – we’ve put together a few of our favourites from the last crop.

Around 10 further videos are expected to be released on 30 September. We can’t wait to see them.
